14 Teams to Compete for Wifflefest 13 Title

Cross your fingers all you Wifflefest competitors, you will need all the luck you can get. Fourteen teams are confirmed to participate in the Justin Osborne All American Wifflefest 13.

Pregame ceremonies will begin at 9:30 am at Fruitland Community Church with first pitch slated to be thrown out at 10 am sharp. With an even number of teams, this year's tournament format has been adjusted to ensure an equal playing field and an abundant opportunity to play more games.

Each team will be guaranteed to play four games this year, with three of those games coming in a pool play format. After pool play, each team will be seeded according to how they performed (win/loss, runs allowed) into two single elimination brackets. There will be a Gold Championship Bracket and a Silver Consolation Bracket. Winners of both brackets will receive the traditional golden or silver wiffleball necklaces, respectively.

The championship game is slated to begin at 6:00 pm on the Church Field under the lights. New this year, both championships game will be broadcast via Facebook Live.
