What a wonderful day it was at the Justin Osborne All American Wifflefest. The temperature was hot, the action even hotter as ten teams competed for a chance to be named Wifflefest Champions. After an early, one-run defeat, Sean's Sluggers fought all the way back through the loser's bracket to claim the championship, winning their final six games of the tournament. The Sluggers were powered by the incredible hitting of Trent Forester, who smashed eight home runs.... demolishing all previous Wifflefest home run records. Congratulations on a hard earned championship.... it was well deserved.Stats, pictures, stories and final team results will be posted within the week.... so please check back often.
I want to thank you so much for making Wifflefest a wonderful success. Wifflefest is not about one person, a one day event, or if you win or lose. Wifflefest is about the people. People who are willing to drive one, two, three hours to hang out and play wiffleball. People you meet for the first time, or you have known for a lifetime. People who you would drop anything for in a heartbeat.... People you love from the bottom of your heart. I trust and pray that you had a fun time and you will already being making plans to join us next year.
