As many of you know, this year the Justin Osborne All American Wifflefest had a little extra meaning besides the usual famous competition. Teams and individuals were encouraged to make a monetary donation to the Pujols Family Foundation, which is dedicated to raising awareness for children who have down syndrome. I am proud to say that collectively Wifflefest raised $325.00 for the foundation. I am also proud to say that I have been contacted by many people who planned on donating on their own, which will add to the total. The donations are currently on their way to the Pujols Family Foundation offices, along with some Wifflefest t-shirts, and the SEMissourian article.I want to thank all of the Wifflefest participants who were able to donate to this great cause. I encourage any and all of you to considered continual giving and prayer for this great cause throughout the year. May our Lord Jesus Christ be honored by your actions and loving heart.
